There are numerous noble villas, among which Villa Murri and Villa Baruchello stand out with its botanical garden, which is one of the most beautiful parks in Italy. Among the places of art and worship, the Madonna dell’Addolorata Sanctuary in the Corva district has been a destination for pilgrimages since the mid-nineteenth century, recalled by the miracle of the statue of the Virgin who opened her arms.
The new City
A specific urban project has recently given a new face to the city center. On Piazza Garibaldi stands the elegant Liberty facade of the Beniamino Gigli auditorium. Comfortable benches and water games, as well as a large and brand new play area, make the square the ideal place for strolling and meeting young people and families. In the immediate vicinity, charming shops and welcoming bars line the streets of Principe Umberto and Cesare Battisti, where you can stop for an aperitif, have an excellent dinner or enjoy a craft beer.
