PORTO SANT’ELPIDIO, THE NEW SEASON OF THE TEATRO DELLE API IS PRESENTED

Promoted by the Municipality and AMAT with the contribution of MiC and the Marche Region and the support of the Carifermo Foundation, the 2024-25 program of the Teatro delle Api of Porto Sant’Elpidio is ready to get going.
Curated by AMAT and the Lagrù Cultural Association which curates the children's theater program, the season is entitled “The beat of the seasons, the breath of the theater” and offers seven titles in subscription, two of which are part of the AMAT Scuola di Platea training project and three gathered under the Made in Marche section significantly representing the most interesting artistic forces of the territory.
To these is added this year the non-subscription event of the first edition of the review “La danza delle Api”.

SEASON TITLES
Opening on November 15th with “Mattei. Petrolio e fango “, performed and directed by Giorgio Felicetti. The show is the result of extensive research done on acts and documents of investigation into the death of the President of ENI.
On December 5th, the intelligent and sharp comedy of Massimo Lopez and Tullio Solenghi is the protagonist with “Dove eravamo resti”, with the Jazz Company directed by Gabriele Comeglio on stage.
On December 19th, three great actors – Milena Vukotic, Pino Micol and Gianluca Ferrato - examples of acting elegance, style and depth, are the protagonists of the Pirandello masterpiece “Così è (se vi pare) “ included in the Scuola di Platea project.
On January 16th, the protagonist is Proscenio Teatro with “Much Ado About Nothing” in the collective adaptation and direction of Proscenio in which Shakespeare’s specious Sicily becomes an ideal place.
For La danza delle Api, a section of the program dedicated to choreographic art, the appointment is on February 8th with “Preludes” music by Chopin, Debussy, Bach and Rachmaninov, with Costanza Principe on the piano and choreography by Massimo Moricone performed by dancers Anbeta Toromani, Alessandro Macario, Amilcar Moret Gonzalez. Prose returns on February 25th with Luca Barbareschi starring in “November” by David Mamet, staged with Chiara Noschese (also director): a fierce and hilarious cross-section of a country where everything is possible when the survival of the American dream coincides with one’s own.
On March 21st the appointment is with Made in Marche: on stage Raissa Moretti and Mirko Batoni - Compagnia Teatrale Quartiere1 in “Una disdicevoleopportunità”, a one-act play based on a text by Carmine Liccardi directed by Barbara Rizzo. A marriage that hides love and drama in equal measure.
Closing the program, on April 4, is Nancy Brilli with “L’ebreo” by Gianni Clementi directed by Pierluigi Iorio. Moving from comedy to tragedy, “L’ebreo” is one of Clementi’s most compelling texts, and sadly current: set in the mid-1950s, with the declared intent of investigating the human soul and the degree of aberration to which one can reach in order not to lose the privileges acquired.

SUBSCRIPTIONS AND TICKET OFFICE
For prose, the new subscriptions are available at the Teatro delle Api Box Office (tel. 346/6286586 - teatrodelleapi.it, every Tuesday and Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on the day of the show from 7:00 pm). Subscription for 7 shows: 110.00 euros.
Single numbered seat tickets on sale from November 1st at 20.00 euros (reduced to 17.00 euros) at the Teatro delle Api, at the AMAT/Vivaticket circuit box offices, Ticket-Store Vivaticket/Best Union and on vivaticket.com (purchasing online involves an increase in the cost in favor of the service manager and does not allow access to the reduction categories).
For the show “ Where We Were Left ” single seat ticket at 25.00 euros full price with a reduced price of 22.00 euros;
For the shows “ Mattei ”, “ Oil and Mud ”, “ Much Ado About Nothing ”, “ A Disgraceful Opportunity ” single seat at 15.00 euros with a reduced price of 12.00 euros.

THEATRE FOR CHILDREN
Everyone to the theater! Theater review for children and families curated by the Lagrù Cultural Association, kicks off on November 24 with the show “ La Sirenetta “ by the Arterie Teatro company of Molfetta. On January 12, the Lagrù Ragazzi company of Fermo will present the new production “ Odissea per giovani eroi “ in a national premiere. On February 2, it will be the turn of the I Guardiani dell’Oca company of Chieti with the show “ La bella e la bestia “. To conclude, on March 16, it will be the turn of the Fontemaggiore company of Perugia with the show “ In bocca al lupo! “.

Subscriptions at the Teatro delle Api on the same days as the prose campaign, 4 shows 20.00 euros. Tickets from November 1st single unnumbered entry €6.00, the day of the show from 4.00 pm.
